The Gay Handbook was started four years ago, as a joke. Out to dinner, I was making a joke with a guy who was very gullible. This guy tried to do something, and I let him know that action was unacceptable. He wasn’t sure why, and I let him know about the set of rules in the Gay Handbook. The joke ran for almost a week before he realized it wasn’t so true, and ever since then, it has remained a standing joke among my friends.
The Gay Handbook has gone from a blog to a message forum to a Wiki, and now it’s back to being a blog. After one of the transitions, I let the domain sit idle for almost a year, as I moved through some personal issues in my life. The following has decreased, but it has slowly started to pick back up.
I hope the longer I continue to blog, and post random items, the more the user base will pick up. Help me make this blog work for you.
