Prince Potty Mouth

Prince_harry_potty_mouth_1 Oh, that Prince Harry has been a naughty boy once again! In the latest of a series of "culturally insensitive remark," the ginger-topped hot brother was reported to have told comedian Stephen K Amos that "he didn't sound like a black chap."

Who reported it? Well, none other than comedian Stephen K Amos. Tally ho, good chap. It happened over a year ago and now you've got your name all across the telly. Well played!

Not that I'm condoning Harry's remarks. He is clearly in need of some sensitivity training, and that's just what the doctor has ordered for him. Military officials have confirmed that he is undergoing another round of diversity and equality training. But with this incident coming on the heels of Harry calling a fellow cadet a "paki" (a colloquial epithet for Pakistanis) as well as his infamous turn as a Nazi soldier several Halloweens ago, it's not entirely believable that another course and a "dressing down" (as he reportedly received from a military superior) is going to cut it.

Prince_harry_potty_mouth_2 Should the public give him a break though? I mean, c'mon – he's part of a totally antiquated, irrelevant, elitist hierarchy and yet completely surrounded by the trappings of technology. Harry is really the first high profile royal to come of age in the age of texting and cell phone cameras. And what bigger media coup than catching a royal f!@# up.

And Prince William doesn't seem to be suffering from the same case of foot-in-mouth disease. He seems to understand the rules of the game a bit better; then again, he  has more at stake. He actually will reign over the British Commonwealth (shout out to the guys who corrected my use of "Empire"), unlike his brother (and even father, for that matter…); plus William doesn't have to live under a swirling cloud of innuendo suggesting that he isn't his father's son. Just sayin'…these things can really get to a guy.

But at the end of the day, Harry has to take responsibility for his actions. He is clearly missing a "sensitivity chip", as Jennifer Aniston would say. His own mother was the Princess of the People; Harry needs to take a lesson from her and learn that even done in "the spirit of fun," these kinds of racial barbs and pet names just end up being…racist.

Now, off with his shirt!
